WHY DOWNWARD IS NOT EASY AT ALL
The absurd contradiction of walking downhill is that it’s metaphorically repulsive, but literally desirable.
Downwards is the goal
Because success is at the top. And we should strive for it, but somehow not reach it and even less exceed it. Because there is more to come. But with the touching of the summit cross comes the adrenaline rush, the feeling of happiness at having made it. And who really wants that afterwards? The descent, though easy and bouncy, is over far too quickly and is rarely remembered.
